Booking online

Hi, I'm considering DVC purchase & would like to know if once a member I can book completely online. We will be buyingSSR and looking for 2 weeks in august each year. With 11 month period will I be able to book 2 weeks exactly 11 months out?

Yes you can book online. SSR is known for having inventory even at less than 7 months so you should always be able to book the size room that you want.

At exactly 11 months you can only book 7 nights from your check in. For a 2 week stay you can either wait an extra week and then book the entire 14 nights at one time or you can book 7 nights at exactly 11 months and then call MS one week later to modify your reservation and reserve the additional nights. Because of the size of SSR and the time you go you will be fine doing the former and waiting the extra week to book all 14 nights at one time.

You cannot modify a reservation online. You can book 7 nights online @11 months from check-in and then one week later, book the next 7 nights online as a separate reservation. Then call MS and ask them to merge those two reservations into one 14-night reservation.

I agree with Kat. Availability at SSR won't be a problem for your dates. You could wait a week and make a 14-night reservation online. If you are planning to book a tree house things might be different. I don't know how fast those might book up for your dates.

I have seen Treehouse villas with availability less than 7 months out...a few times and recently too.
