Has anyone found that they have had better luck calling vs. booking online?

I checked some reservations for our favorites for late Sept. (I know its LATE) and found nothing. I'm wondering if I would have better luck calling?

What are people finding?

Hi,
Personally I kind of do both. I enjoy talking to a real person (I'm friendly and like to jabber!) and even when my 90 day window opened up I only waited on hold for under 5 minutes. I got everything I wanted despite forgetting all about it until around noon!!
Now I'm tweaking a couple things. I look online first, figured out what I want to do then I called.(just tonight actually). I told the gentleman what I wanted to do. I told what I had found online. He said he had a couple more spaces open than I had seen online and it all worked out fine. Also said that Park Faire 1900 was now having issues the week of Nov 15 now too. (showing no availability).
So.. I guess it's up to you. Talking to a CM makes it seem more vacation like to me.. but I like keeping tract of things and will continue to check online.
Good luck and happy Ressie hunting!!:wizard:

76 days to go:yay:

Our party is made up of 2 adults and 4 children. In the past, when I have made ADR's on the phone, the CM would tell me that there were no tables available for party of 6, but he/she was able to reserve 2 tables for us without a guarantee that we would be seated together. We were always seated together, though. Has anyone had success with splitting up party size to 2 tables when making ADR's online? Should I just plan on calling instead?

I prefer on-line. Don't think I had better success but it was faster. I can't stand all those menu questions on the phone and giving your life story just to make an ADR.

we also have a party of 6- I made 19 ADR's total(deluxe dining, we aren't double booked!) which i made both on line and on the phone. 18 of them have us at a single table. The one that is potentially at 2 tables is The Plaza- but it is just their policy b/c they have smaller tables to warn you that you could be at two different tables if they can't find 2 next to each other to push together. I would go on line at 6 am, get what you can, and call back at 7 am for any others you didnt' get and ask if they can seat you at separate tables.

:)I liked on line because it was faster.
However.....if you can't get something online, Call!!

The online was showing no availability for chef mickey's breakfast.
I called later and there was an opening.

Thanks so much for your help. I'll try online and then call for the ones I couldn't get.
