booking one night at resort with cash

We are going to stay for 6 nights on points at the Poly (I know, not the best value for points but with the baby we want the monorail) My question is, if I use points sun thru thurs, and book the friday cash, can I use any discounts like AAA for that night thru member services? I think I would have to book it thru member services to keep the same room? TIA

I don't think MS can make reservations for any rooms other than DVC villas. You'll have to go through CRO for a non-DVC reservation on cash.
