Booking on US site/MDE

Hi, I'm planning a last-minute few days to WDW in Oct.
If I book accommodation only on the WDW US site, purchase US tickets (4 day hoppers w/o water parks are ~£40 cheaper than UK 7 day), will it all link up OK with my UK MDE account?
I'm assuming I physically can book accommodation through the US site these days?

Well, I did book 4 nights at Ft Wilderness Cabins using the Fall Savings offer. It all shows up fine in MDE. I bought 4 day hoppers from Undercover Tourist - this was very good, I bought e-tickets, and received the reference number in less than an hour, which again linked straight away to MDE. I have now made FP+ selections.
It was $84 cheaper buying through UT than Disney direct (it might be even cheaper elsewhere but felt comfortable with them).
Anyway looking forward to a rather unexpected trip!

Adding to my post as I think of things... The other 'disadvantage' of buying the tickets seperately is not being able to add DDP. At $60/day we couldn't justify that, particularly as DD16 isn't a huge eater (we're not particularly ourselves), and the real cost given the extra cost of the Disney Package tickets would have worked out at $67 equivalent. We like Disney restaurants and have made ADRs for 3 of the 4 nights we're there, but there's no way we'll come close to spending $180/day on food and soft drinks.

The only disadvantage that might have been is that as the trip wasn't booked as a package then the FP+ window would only be 60 days rather than 60+ length of stay. That didn't apply as I'm going in less than 60 days.

Congratulations on your last minute (unexpected) trip. Just to clarify, for you and anybody else who might be interested, the right to make FP+ at 60 days for length of stay is based purely on you staying onsite and nothing to do with where you buy your tickets/whether you have booked a package. We never buy tickets through Disney but have not had any probems making FP+ reservations at 60 days, for the duration of our onsite stays.

Yes, didn't realise that - I have edited my earlier post to remove that bit. Thanks for clarifying :thanks:
