booking on the DL website vs Expedia

Hi,

I must be missing something and I am hoping someone can help. I am booking a trip and staying at the DLH. Both the DL website and expedia have the same price but when I go to do the total Expedia is about $100.00 more. Are they including some fees that I may not be seeing on the DL website? I am trying to get the best deal but I like the idea of having it paid for up front and I don't think I can do that on the DL site. Any info would be great.

Are you sure they are exactly the same? I haven't used the DL site, but Expedia likes to add things like shuttles from the airport and/or travel insurance onto the package. You can uncheck those of course.

Are you booking a package, or just the hotel? If you book a package from the DL website it goes through Walt Disney Travel Co., which gives you the option to pay $200 down and then pay the rest whenever up until a month before you go.

If you're just booking the hotel I would call them and ask if you can prepay. Most hotels allow it in my experience (that's pretty much always how I pay for hotels).
