I have seen were many people have mentioned that they have booked their next cruise while still on board. What advantages are offered for doing this? We're headed out soon on our first cruise and were planning to book another if it's as wonderful as people say.

They would give you discount on the fares as well as other incentives like on- board ship credits.

We got 10% off and a $200 onboard credit!

Good luck

Isn't that 10% and $200 just for the 7 day cruises? What about 3/4 night cruises? Is it worth booking them onboard?

I just booked a 4 night cruise with a 3 day land package on the ship and I got the 10% off and the $200.00 ship credit:Pinkbounc

What about just a 4 or 3 day cruise, and not with the land package? Anyone book that onboard lately? Did you get 10% off?

we booked another 3 night, we recieved $100 onboard crdit & were told that the 10% was only for 7 night cruises- was there a special circumstance brittwoman? or maybe because you really are doing 7 full nights due to the land portion ??or was I fed a line? Thanks!

i ve been told this is the normal breakdown for rebooking onboard:

3 day = 10% off and $50-100
4 day = 10% off and $100-150
7 day = 10% off and $200-400

all of this depends on the mood of DCL at the time of rebooking

There was no discount on 3 - 4 day cruises when we booked in Feburary - just the stateroom credit. 10% on 7 day cruises. Don't know about the land-sea as we didn't even consider that option.

I don't recall there being a discount for the 3 or 4 day cruises either. Those get $100.00 SBC.

I booked on the cruise and she told me there has not been any discounts for the 3 or 4 days for several months. Just the 100- Onboard credit.

The seven day was indeed 10% and 200 credit
