DD and I have decided to book a spur of the moment trip and stay at POFQ, but have to do this by tomorrow because if I don't, my agent will be on vacay, and I'll miss my ADR date! I want to include room preferences, but I know nothing about POFQ! I'm assuming my agent's deal (from the agency of whom we never speak) is for standard room only (I didn't inquire, but now time is of the essence). Eek! I'm freaking out and need to finalize my booking. Because she's going on holidays the following day, I need to ensure I have my room requests in too so she can process everything at once before she leaves! Best area for rooms (views for standard) please!?!?! TIA

Thank you. I was wondering if there was any specific area that would be nice to request. Anything??POFQ is the smallest of the Moderates and because of that, does not have a Preferred classification. IMHO, there isn't a bad location at the entire resort. You could walk from one end to the other in about 5 minutes. I wouldn't worry about room preferences unless you happen to like ground floor, corner room or upper floor.
But if she doesn’t have a res, she won’t get the 180+10. She will have to go back every day to make each ADR. A bit of a pain.If your only rush is your ADRs, you don't need a resort reservation to make those. Everyone gets 180 days whether staying onsite or not.
Chill. Make your ADRs and book the room when your TA gets back
You could ask your agent if she has a co-worker who can help you in case you need anything while she is away.

Anyone can book at 180 days. That is not an onsite perk.Without a reservation, how will I incur a 180 day mark at all?

River views are a separate room category, and they cost extra. While there are some rare instances that guests who booked directly with Disney get a free upgrade to a higher room category, rooms booked through the agency are not eligible for the free upgrades (which are unlikely anyway, and are not available by request). Those river views look pretty nice though! Any chance they give them out to those who only have standard booking? Don't want to sound greedy if I make a request.![]()
