Booking Next Trip During Current Visit?

I know I am not going crazy - a couple of years ago while staying at the AKL, we were given an opportunity to call reservations and receive a substantial discount on our NEXT trip, as long as we booked while we were in our current hotel.

I can no longer find any information on whether or not this is still in effect. Has anyone recently booked their NEXT visit while at a WDW resport? Is this still an option?

I have a new AP that is just begging to be used on a return trip (after my upcoming holiday trip)!

It was called the "Come Back Offer" last year when we stayed at AKL, 2/03. It seemed to last until sometime in the spring but I have not heard of any recent offerings like that.

They did not have this offer during our Sept trip.
