We are staying at Pop in Jan. with free dining. We decided to add an extra day to the beginning of our trip, which will be a room only reservation (since free dining is not available that day). We need 4 rooms for one night, if I call to make the reservation for the 4 rooms will I need to pay the deposit for each of the rooms or do I pay one deposit and do the rest at check in? Also, are they able to link these reservations with our existing so we don't have to change rooms after the first night?

Thanks

Room-only reservations require a payment equivalent to one night's stay, per room. You will owe one night's stay for all four rooms. At least when you arrive, that first night will be paid for already.

I know you can link two reservations on a room or two, but I don't have the answer about 4 rooms. If they can link all the reservations, there is no absolute guarantee that you can stay in the same rooms, but I know Pop will try their best to accommodate you if they can. I have some doubts in your case, because Pop has to find 4 extra rooms before your FD stay. That could be an almost impossible challenge. The resort could be busy with others who are also starting their FD stays early, like you. You might have to be scattered around that first night. Just my opinion.

you would have to make a deposit for each room. To make things easier, prior to check-in, I believe the resort can "see" reservations like a week out, call POP and let them know you have 2 reservations (1 for 1 night room-only and 1 for FD) and want to link the two in hopes of being able to stay in the same room the entire time. Do not assume they will catch the two since rooms are assigned by a computer beforehand. We had done it upon arrival at the desk and, only after 30 minutes of "unblocking" reserved rooms and "re-blocking" them into new rooms were we able to stay in a room for the entire duration of our stay. Also keep in mind that this may affect check-in time since if they know 4610 will be available for the 5 or so many nights you are there and the guest checking out that morning decides to leave at noon, your room may not be ready until the late-afternoon. with having 4 rooms to worry about, this may be harder and you may end up having 1 or more of those rooms needing to be moved on the second day.
