Booking MK Fireworks Dessert Party with Garden Viewing

Are the fireworks dessert parties at MK (specifically interested in the garden viewing one) booked like ADRs - i.e., at 180 days out? Do these sell out quickly such that they need to be snatched up right at 180 days (or more depending on resort stay)? We have a split stay in February - we switch resorts on Thursday and are hoping to get the dessert party on Saturday, so I'll only have 180 days + 2 to make a reservation. Thanks!

They're not open at 180 days like regular adrs. They open a few months out. You'd have to just keep checking daily.

Yes, they are booked like ADRs. The main differences are payment (you pay in full at the time of booking) and cancellation policy (up to 5 days in advance with a full refund).

The garden viewing party has been having pretty good availability from what I can tell, even for late bookings. I did it in May and July and booked both around 30-45 days out. The seated Tomorrowland Terrace version does tend to go quickly because there are such limited numbers there.

The party reservation slots have (ETA: sometimes) are not be released for booking at the 180 day mark. They'll come out later, although impossible to say when (this can be a bit frustrating for uber planners!).

Thanks for the responses! And not being able to book right at 180 days actually makes me feel better since we'd only have a couple of extra days to book it. But now, something else to "stalk"!

I was able to book our August MK plaza viewing party at 180 days out, so definitely check. If it isn't loaded yet, just keep looking.

It looks like it is available to book at 180 days as both views are now available through the end of January for booking.

We were able to book ours for early January at 180 days out, although there are still times available now for our date (weekday), there isn't anything available for any of the weekend days during our trip.

Those are good points by the PPs. I should correct my statement above to say 'sometimes' it's not available at the 180 day mark. They were late putting the October ones up and people were wringing their hands around here in suspense.

So point being, if you're not seeing availability at 180 it could be because they aren't loaded yet, so keep checking.

The frustrating thing is you never know when the dates will be loaded. For Christmas, they were not available 180 days out. Soon after the 180 day mark, the dates became clickable, but it indicated there was no availability. Some people who called to book at that time were told by CM's that they were already fully booked, but that was incorrect. So the only option at that point was to check every single day. Once they were available, the dates around Christmas were booked up within a couple of weeks or so, so you have plenty of time to book if you keep on top of things.

Booked our Labor Day weekend terrace party tickets about 15 days ago. Keep looking but don't feel that you MUST book at 180 days.

We booked ours only a few weeks in advance, for the week before Easter. Easy peasy.
