Booking ME through AAA

I am a DVC member and will be staying at VWL in Nov, BUT my first nights stay will be at POFQ. I booked this room through AAA on-line. I went to make my ME reservation but was told by the DVC CM that she could only book the return reservation for ME (from VWL) and not the arrival reservation because it was booked through AAA. She told me that I had to call AAA and they would book the arrival ME reservation for me. Has anyone had experience booking ME through AAA (specifically using an on-line reservartion)? I only have a reservation confirmation number (for the room) that AAA gave me from the website. Right now I have ME booked for our return trip to the airport from VWL. It seems weird that I have to make separate reservations for ME!! Thanks for any help you can give!

My understanding is that if you book through a travel agency AAA or any other agent, they must make your ME arrangements. The ME tags will then go to your AAA agent and they will forward them to you.

Perhaps you will have more peace of mind if you call directly and speak to a AAA agent.
We booked our trip thru AAA in Clark, NJ - they are one of the few AAA offices in NJ that specialize in WDW, and that's why I chose that specific office.

Since it sounds like you are doing a room only reservation, book it yourself through CRO as you can book AAA rates through them. They will take your ME information at the same time. This is one case where going through the AAA website is not the best solution.
