Booking large Party

What is the best way to make dining reservations for a party of 12? Can I do it all from the app or online or is calling the best? Also if 2 decide not to go should I change all reservations?

Use the large groups line and call.

If 2 no-show you won't have to change the reservation.

Some you call and Be Our Guest you have to email. They will give you the email when you call.

We have previously split the reservation in half and booked them at the same time. We have arrived a half hour early and asked if we could be seated together. Sometimes, we were told it would be a longer wait. But, we never waited longer than 20 minutes. This was helpful for our party of eight in previous years.

Originally I had 13 in my party and I did all my ADRs online with the regular booking. The only one I had to split up was Coral Reef, all the others I got reservations for 13. Good luck!

It is only for groups of 15 or more so they won't book you through the email. I thought it was 11 or more but just checked my email. We had 16 so were directed to the phone and then email. If you have fewer than 15 you have to book on the regular phone number or website.

It is for a Disney YES program group, it's for more than 15 people.

Oh sorry I thought you were the OP who only needed for 12. Here is the email wdw.bog.special.events@disney.com. Just wondering who did you call? It is odd that they didn't know that when you called as they wdw-dine group is who gave it to me and then gave me the number for the few other restaurants that had separate phone numbers (none of which I remember or have).

Thanks so much! I called WDW-DINE. It really depends on the CM. Ugh! I had tried calling numerous times for H&V for my group, finally after 4 calls, a CM advised that there was a number for large groups @ HS. Not only did she give me the number, but she also transferred me. I left a message, & it said I would received a call back within 72hr. I received email within 12hr. Reservations booked by end of day once everything was confirmed.

It is so sad another guest had to give it to you. I feel bad giving it out because I don't want people under the party size to try and use it to book yah know. Hopefully if you are under that big amount they'll say sorry you need to book through the regular website and not cave to booking through the email for small sizes.

That's weird as the website still says call if it is a party of 15 or more. I wonder if the system hasn't updated or you just call now and they couldn't find a reservation for your size.

Sorry that it isn't working any more. It was a nice ability but I guess streamlining to make the system take the maximum seating they can do it best.

No worries, but many thanks. One CM did make multiple reservations, but advised may not be able to sit together. However, recommended arriving early or going by early in the day or week to let them know about our group and separate reservations, so that they could try and have us seated together.
