I am looking to book a Jet Blue flight for the first time with trueblue points. I am wondering if I have to cancel for some unforeseen reason how it is handled? I think if you have to change a flight normally there is a fee per ticket to change it.

Tried looking on their site to see what "fee" there is using points but unable to find anything. Would appreciate any help!!!

I have had to make changes on a flight booked with points before. I was told that I could do that but would have to pay $75 (could be based on price of the flight) in order to have my points go back into my account. Otherwise, you lose the points.

Thanks! That info helps a lot!

We just booked to tickets with points for Jan. and we actually bought the insurance they offer. It is $30 total for both tickets. With elderly parents you never know what can happen and $30 was much better than $100/ticket without the insurance. The fees are $75 for fares under $100; $100 for fared $100 - $149 and $150 for all others.

I would not mind paying $30 for piece of mind! Where in the process were you offered that option? Did you buy online or over the phone?

Thanks!

It was an option on one of the screens when purchasing our tickets online. It was the first item on the screen and I just clicked that I wanted it. As I said, it was only $30 for every ticket on that purchase - in our case $30 for 2. Well worth the piece of mind for me since you never know when emergencies can come up.

Thank you so much!! Peace of mind definitely worth $30!! :cool1:
