Does anyone know how to get around the computer algorithms? I'm trying to book a 4 night stay - Thurs to Monday. Yacht Club saying it's unavailable but if I put in a 5 night stay - Thurs to Tues it's available. So obviously my dates are available it just won't let me book it. Should I book the 5 night stay, then call to take off 1 day?

I have been experiencing the same problems. I cannot amend room-only reservations and have two separate reservations which overlap a day. Hoping it will be easy to just drop a day from one reservation but retain the AP discount.

I would book the 5 and call to drop 1. I would say due to flight prices, etc etc. They will say it needs to go to a supervisor or some other department for approval, and you will hear in a few days, at least that has happened to me. You have nothing to lose by trying, except your deposit taking a bit to come back to you. I have had this a couple times and it was approved, so fingers crossed.

I’ve done this successfully more than once (in fact, I need to call today to get a night dropped from a hopeful CR itinerary). The worst they can say is no:).

I have also had overlapping days twice this year. Once when changing resorts & once when I was able to get part of the stay with the AP discount. Both times it was a day at YC I needed to drop. The CM put me on hold & contacted guest services. They were able to drop the day & I kept my discount both times. I was probably on hold for 10 - 15 minutes but it was taken care of immediately, no need to wait for a call back or wait days for a decision.

Hi Everyone -
I called this morning and had no trouble amending my reservations and retaining the AP discount. The cast member spoke to a guest services manager and was able to combine the two reservations into one reservation with the original confirmation number and applied both deposits to the reservation. Now if I could only get the AP discount for the first three days - I will keep checking each day.

It was a five minute wait around 10:30 am this morning - hope you do not have to hold too long.
