Does anyone know the sequence of keys needed to press on the phone to get straight through to an operator to book an Illuminations cruise. I tried to book one today with the sequence listed in the Illuminations thread but it did not work. The first time I got cut off, then it would not recognise my telephone number(It does ask for a 10 digit number so I don't know if it only works with american telephone numbers).I tried various times but had to give up! Has anyone managed to successfully book a cruise and which keys did you press? I am hoping to try again another day. Thanks.

Ive only rung the dining line, so I dont know if its the same message, but it might help......As soon as you hear do you want to hear in english or...press 1, if your calling to make...press 1, if your calling from....press 1, as soon as you hear the mans voice about doing a survey press 2. you are probably best practising and listening to the message good luck hope this helps a little

If i remember rightly, you drop off the zero from your phone number and enter that, and when they say pound they mean hash! we had an illuminations cruise two years ago it was fab, well worth the stress of trying to bokk it! this year we are doing the wishes cruise which is much easier to book! good luck:thumbsup2

Thanks for your advice. I did a couple of tries today , and missed the 0 off my phone number and it worked fine. Just need to try again on wednesday when I can phone at 12! Thanks.

Fingers crossed for you :)

Hope you are successful:thumbsup2 Let us know how you get on.

Phoned up today and got the cruise for Weds 30th May. It worked!! Thanks for your help. I can't wait! We are a party of 6 so there is space for 4 more. If anyone is interested in sharing please PM me or leave a reply. Should be great.
Thanks again.

can I just ask a Q about timings - if the fireworks are due to start at 9pm (for e.g) I've heard the boat leaves at 8:15, so do you have to be ready to board at say 8pm? Or is the 8:15 the time you need to be there for? Thanks!

Well done you....I am so pleased you got it sorted.

I would also like to know what time you need to book for to catch the 9pm Illuminations
Elaine

I was told we had to be at the Yacht and Beach club for 8pm, and that the boat will launch at 8.30. Have to phone 2 weeks before to confirm timings as these times are based on illuminations being at 9pm, and she said the time is subject to change. However illuminations has always been at 9pm all the other times we have seen it in May so I can't see the time changing.

To see the 9pm Illuminations just ask for the 8pm Speciality cruise, and once you have the booking let them know you want to see Illuminations and they will arrange for the boat to leave at 8.30.

thanks for the information, Im getting a little nervous now:eek:
Thanks
Elaine

sorry, another Q - I thought you called 90 days out, but I've since heard it's changed to 180 days out - which one is correct, as I don't want to miss out. I've also heard that when it was 90 days out, it was actually 90 days from your first day staying on-site, which I find hard to believe but thought I'd best check.

sorry all

can we still book the breathless boat or is it just the one type of boat now?

anyone know if i land in orlando on the 20/9/07 whats the earliest i can start phoneing to book? is it 90 days before that?

I'd recommend being there at 8pm. Often your Captain will be around preparing the boat and will set sail as soon as your entire party's present.

The Breathless is still out of action - no news of when it will be back, as far as I know.

You can book 90 days in advance. You can use this calculator to work out the date. Input the information in the Epcot Specialty Cruises box under Activities. Make sure you read the information about Date Entry at the top.

Check out this thread for tips on how to maximise your chances of securing a booking.
