Booking help?

I booked a trip over the phone today direct with DLRP for 4 nights at Sequoia lodge with half board plus for £824.

I didnt think much about it, until Ive just seen online the same trip on the DLRP website is £724, £100 cheaper! :crazy2:

I was under the impression that the prices should be the same. If I phone them back tomorrow will they give me the online price or allow me to cancel so I can book online? Anyone had simmilar problems?
 
You could try - I always thought the prices were the same but booking online you pay the full amount whereas booking by phone you pay a deposit only

I paid in full when I booked. Will this make a difference?

I was excited about my trip but now I just feel swindled :sad1:
 
I would definitely phone them back - take a printout of what you're seeing on your computer screen for exactly the same deal online, and see what they say.
If they won't refund the difference to you, I'd be tempted, in your shoes, to complain in writing, giving the evidence of the online price versus what you've been charged.
 

Is it possible that the online quote did not include Disney's Premium insurance? If you go to the last page when you accept the booking, there is an option to buy the insurance. Perhaps it was added automatically to your phone booking.:confused3 The other thing could be the 40% off accommodation and tickets offer on at the moment - is it possible that SL has suddenly become part of that deal?
 
I phoned disneyland paris to find out why theres a difference in cost.

Turns out the lady I spoke to had booked my package wrong, she'd booked me into a lake view disabled montana room (which I didnt request)

They admitted the mistake & have refunded the difference, however itl take 6-8 weeks to receive! :eek:

I was thinking of booking buffalo bills anyway, so got them to put the money towards that the refund the thirty something pound that was left over.
 
Glad you got it sorted out! Thank goodness you checked online...thats a sickner and a half!!!:sad2:

Can't undertand why you have to wait that long for a refund, especially when it's not your fault.
