Hi we have just bought our points for AKV and would like to know the best way to book our vacation. Do we book week by week or wait and book the whole 3 weeks together?

That would depend on the type of room and avilability exspectations at the time you wish to travel.

If you are worried about getting the stay you want then call everyday and add that day (11 months out). I have done that for day that I know I want and may be hard to get or if I'm booking a grandvilla.

While day by day booking is probably not required, I personally wouldn't be comfortable trying to book a three week vacation with one call. That's 20 days of other people calling and potentially booking, and that's a lot of time especially for those early days.

I'd probably call weekly if it's not a peak DVC season or something hard to get like concierge or GV.

It would be 11 months from you departure to book the whole week at once. If you go day by day, as some do, you call everyday for seven days. Caskbill's DVC software is a great planning tool if you don't have it. You can plug in your week and it breaks down when you can call for it all or day by day. Not sure of the link, but Caskbill is a moderator here so if you would like it just post it and I'm sure a link could be provided to download the program.
