If I book a room and tickets on the Disneyland website - do I pick up the tickets at the Good Neighbor hotel? How does that work?

I'm not sure how it works, but I would suggest comparing prices before booking through the DL website. I broke down the cost for a ticket/hotel room package. It came out about $100 cheaper to book the room directly through the hotel and buy the tickets on the DL website.

I concur, I would even say look at your options on tickets as well, you can get a nice discount at sites like Getawaytoday and last minute travel. If you want to book everything together as a package, getawaytoday has better prices than going through Disney.

They get mailed to you. I book through Disney once in a while because you have the option of slowly paying for your vacation over a longer period of time. It can be more expensive though and your choice of hotel room layouts/views is limited. For example, if you stay at HOJO, the only option they give (at least a year ago) was the 2 double beds, which is okay, but we prefer queens. If I have the money to pay outright or know I will have the money saved properly by the time of the trip, I tend to book directly with the hotel I want for the best price and get my tickets on the website.

Costco actually has the same packages as the Disneyland website, but they include a few extra bonuses, such as a gift card and Photo Pass included in the package price.

Thanks everybody! I didn't even think of Costco - and I even looked on there for rental cars! I'll have to give it a look. I certainly could use a Costco gift card! As far as the Photopass, isn't that part of the Maxpass now?
