Booking GG??

I have been trying to book a ressie at GG for months now and I can't get any availability! Is it always like this?? Is there any chance to just walk up and get seated?? We are leaving in about 2 weeks...

You can try right at opening.Remember the place ONLY is open for dinner, it is a character meal, its popular and Free Dining is going on as well as the Candlelight Processional dinner pkgs( and that takes tables out of regular inventory)

The PP has good points, and add to that the fact that Garden Grill is quite small - they start out with a very limited table inventory, anyway, never mind the special events/packages and free dining impact.

They open about 4:30, you might get a walkup seating if you are there then, or you may not - last couple of times we were there the podium CMs were less than helpful.

If you are trying online, you may wish to try calling in - the 'hours' listed online for this location are 4:20-4:55, which we all know are not correct.

GG was my son's favorite character meal on our last trip, and it took checking both online and via phone multiple times daily to finally land it, but only as part of a CP package. Wasn't very excited about it at first, but now really looking forward to it, especially since I managed to land a dinner ADR there on my kids' birthday, and having the CP on top of it will make the evening even more special.

Keep on trying... like the PP said, it's tough for multiple reasons. But there's a good chance that there will be cancellations the closer you get, as people decide to switch up their plans last minute. Good luck!!!!

Thanks everyone! I will try getting there early and get either a ressie for later...they open at 4ish?? I have been checking for lunch time...I thought they were open for lunch and dinner! LOL

You're welcome! ...It used to be open for lunch and that made it easier, they stopped that awhile back.

That's nice!!! Thanks!!! I am going to try to figure out something, but I already had a ton of ADRs...I want to keep all of them, but even thugh we are on the dining plan, I would pay for the GG if I could get it. We only have a couple of spots open (reservation-wise)...I should have booked it my 180 days out! LOL

If I don't get to it this trip, I will try again on our next trip, probably May or June! Thanks again!

Haha...Me too! We will try for it again next June if we can't get a last minute ressie! NBD, but it would be nice to eat there, since my DS is sooooo into EPCOT!!!! LOL
