I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm not having much luck with searching for it... So...

We just received our 5 Magic Bands in the mail, and I have been trying to book some FP times for us on the app, but it keeps telling me we need valid tickets linked to our bands.

I have already linked our APs to our profiles in the app, so I'm not sure what the problem is... Has anyone else had this problem? Was it able to be resolved before check in?

Do your passes expire before your trip? I've heard that several people have had issues if they were trying to book FP+ but the expiration date of the AP was prior to their trip (even though they planned on renewing).

I am having this same problem. I called a few days ago but it hasn't been fixed. I have tried several different paths to FP+, but all of them end up with the error. It is aggravating that it tells you that you do not have a valid ticket for that date, when you haven't even picked a date!

If you find a solution, please post it here. I will do the same. Thanks!

Subscribing because I have an AP and we'll be traveling next July so I'd love to hear if anyone figures it out!! I actually have an AP voucher, so that might be a whole different issue!

I would call them. I have had my annual passes linked for months now and have been picking fast passes no problem.

I also just notices that my annual passes actually say Disney annual pass dvc. It used to just say something generic and it said there wasn't additional info available yet. It all appears complete now for the info. My parents tickets say 8 day park hopper also now vs Disney park pass or something like that.

I have my AP vouchers linked, no issues. However I am wondering what's going to happen because we're doing a 3 way split stay for our 3 week trip in November and we've been given 3 sets of Magic Bands.... I thought AP holders were only be going to getting one set? :confused3

How far in advance of your trip did it let you start? I linked my vouchers and they're showing up under My Reservations, but when I click on FP+ and Magic Bands its only showing an old KTTW card from our trip this past June.

I was able to link 3 of our APs myself but had to call to have my dh's linked. It took a little while to get it done. Not sure what the issue was. All of our APs were purchased at the same time last spring.

For a non resort guest, I.E. a local, I do believe that is the case. But since you are a resort guest, you get MBs as part of the reservation. While some people are thinking that they may eventually get the system smart enough to only send out one magic band per person, the fact that they still issue a new KTTW for each leg of a split stay, and also that the MDE allows you to activate/deactivate different bands leads me to think that would be at best, a ways off.

June I purchased and used for the first time. They have been linked since July.

Our passes expire on Jan 2, and we will be there Oct 12-16. It is a little frustrating since this is our first time getting to use the MBs... My wife is really frustrated and doesn't see what advantage the new system gives us. To be honest, as AP holders, I'm not sure what to tell her... I'm just excited to try something new!

So you've been linked since July and have been able to make FP + reservations since then? When is your trip? I'm trying to see if the usual 60 day window will apply if we have an AP. We aren't going until next July. Thanks!

We just went through this with our reservation, also traveling in October with APs. You need to go to MY DISNEY EXPERIENCE/magic bands and cards. If your AP is not showing with each person's profile, at the bottom right there is a button to click that says "link a magicband or card".

Once each person shows their AP linked with their magicband, you will be able to do FP+ for each day of your trip.

During the testing period, you will get a Magic Band for each resort stay, including split stays. Eventually AP holders will just get one and return guests can use the one from their last trip. Once you have Magic Band, as an AP holder, you can make up to 14 days FP+ reservations outside of your resort stay. They don't need to be consecutive dates either

Thank you! Mine is showing up under My Reservations, but when I go to the MB and FP + section is only shows our old KTTW card. I'll go in and link the AP there as well! Thanks :)

All of our APs are linked to our MBs in MDE (love the abbreviations!), and we still are unable to book FP+...

I just got off the phone with Disney and they saw that they were linked, but were unable to fix the problem... They thought it might have something to do with the APs being on the pay monthly plan for FL residents, so they gave me the number to call the AP department...

I'm not sure how they are going to be able to help, but I'll give it a try and report back. Bottom line, I think this won't be resolved until we get down there, and we won't be able to book anything ahead of time on what will probably be a pretty busy weekend. How early 2013 is that?! ;)

Just wanted to check back in and say that my problem is fixed and I can make FP+ reservations now! Third phone call was the charm. I think it really makes a difference who you happen to get when you call. Just keep calling back!

I'm actually on hold with Disney ticketing right now trying to resolve the issue.

Are you finding that it's letting you book FP + more than 60 days out if you have an AP. My AP is linked in the reservation section, but when I go into the Magic Bands and FP + section it's not there. I'm trying to figure out if there's an issue or if it's just because we're still way more than 60 days out from our trip.

I am having the same issue! Today is my 60 day mark and I was just hoping I would be able to log in and book my FP but no luck. Our APs are vouchers (and my mom is coming this trip and has a 5 day hopper) and all appear under My Reservations. When I click on Manage Magic Bands, just my old KTTW ticket from my March trip shows up. If the passes we are using this upcoming trip appear under My reservations, do I still have to link them? I would assume they were already linked if my OKW reservation appears right above them on the same page! I love Disney planning but this is just too much work and frustration! I already had 2 calls to Disney IT, one over an hour, for another issue!!
