HI everyone. FP day is 8 days away, trip is 68 days out. When trying to book for FOP (at 60+4) and SDD (60+6) do you think it'd be better to split my group into 4 and 4 right from the get go? Or am I just as likely to have luck booking all 8 together? Thanks for your input!

I booked our FP this morning and there was good availability for FoP at 60+5, I think you can try for your group all together. SDD at 60+6 should be okay, I was able to get it for a group of 5 at 60+3 (although in the evening).

I can't comment on SDD, but this past February I was able to get a FP for FOP for my group of 12 at 60+2. It was late in the day though, 5:30-6:30 or something close if I remember correctly.

I have read the entire (War & Peace sized) sticky about FP, and cannot remember or didn't understand what the 60+5...60+2 business is all about. Can someone explain this to me please?

Many thanx!

I booked ours for 6 and had no issues. I got tons of same day FP for all 6 without splitting up too.

“60+5” means 5 days into your onsite stay, for example.

For an on-site (or otherwise elgible) reservation, FP booking “opens” 60 days before your check-in date for the length of your stay. It’s the “length of your stay” part that is the “+#”.

For example, let’s use someone that says “60+3” and assume today was their 60 day from check-in mark.

60 days out = 8/24
+1 = 8/25
+2 = 8/26
+3 = 8/27

I booked fast passes for 11 people. Got SDD 60+2 and FOP 60+4. SDD is a late one 8:30. Also before fast pass day I had my AK day and HS day reversed, had to switch them due to lack of availability for FOP at 60+2. (Hope that makes sense)

Booked last month for 13 guests and got FOP and SDD for all of us at the same time. It was no trouble, but we did have better luck the further out we were 60+4 and beyond.

Good luck!

ahhhhhhhhh, I get it now. I'm so happy for the answers from you 2....60+2?

I have a group of 7 and do all FPs at one time with no problems. We even got FoP (though only for 6 since my youngest can’t get on)

Just did FPs last week for our August trip. Only a party of 4 and could not get ANY FoP for our fourth day. On day 6, the earliest available was about 2:00. No trouble at all getting Slinky Dog on day 5.

I've done them for a group of 7 recently. Usually had no issue getting us all together, but in few instances, especially ones where I made changes later, I had to separate us. For example, 5 for 12:30-1:30, 2 for 1:05-2:05. So we were all able to ride together if we got in line between 1:05-1:30. I did this for a few rides, so as long as you have someone keep track of the differing times and what the overlap time is where you can ride together, it should work out fine.
