Hi All,
I apologize if this has been covered somewhere...I couldn't find anything on it. My parents have decided to join us on our next cruise. We are silver and this will be their first DCL cruise. Am I able to book Palo, excursions, etc. for them when our dates open, or would I need to book them separately, after their booking opens? Thank you in advance for your help!

Unless they are booked in the cabin with you, they cannot be booked until their booking date opens.

If they're staying in a separate stateroom, they'll have to book their excursions (even if they want the same ones as you) when their booking window opens. If you're making a dining reservation for all of you then you should be able to book that when your Silver window opens. If they are booking dining for themselves they'll book that in their own window.

You're welcome! But it occurred to me after I replied that I may have misspoken about booking dining for all of you together during your Silver window. I have definitely booked group dining in my Gold window for Silver members traveling in other staterooms, and I THINK it was before they were checked in, but now I'm not positive...I'm hoping someone else will be certain about the answer to booking dining together. I apologize in advance if I'm wrong - I don't want to cause you any frustration!

No worries! I appreciate the input - I can also ask my TA :thanks:

you could rearrange the reservations and swap one of you for one of your parents. That way both staterooms would be at the silver level and could book things at the same time. Disney doesn't care whether you sleep in the stateroom you are booked in. You would need to go to the muster station for the room you are booked in.

f you're making a dining reservation for all of you then you should be able to book that when your Silver window opens.

Time was, if you were linked to another room with a lower Castaway Club level than your own, when you booking window opened for excursions/adult dining/etc, you could book everyone. That's no longer an option.

When you book your excursion/adult dining/whatever, all the names linked to that reservation will show and you will be asked who you want to include in the reservation. HOWEVER, any people in a room whose window has not opened yet will be grayed out and you can't select them, until their window is also open.
