Is there anyway I can book my DD a FD package with the D+ subscription discount?

My 17 year old daughter would like to go to Disney next year with a friend (she’ll be 18 by then). I will not be going on the trip. I am a Disney + subscriber and we all use the account. She is linked to my MDE and has her own account with her own email.

It's worth calling and asking. It is my understanding that you, personally, as the Disney+ subscriber, do not have to be in the travel party, but an adult from your household needs to be on the reservation - that adult would be your daughter. You will still need to verify the subscriber name and Disney+ user ID to qualify for the offer.

I just tried on the Disney site and it allows me to change the primary guest to her. I will book for her and call Disney to verify.

When and how do you have to verify your Disney + info? Upon check in? I had to login to book and it showed that we are eligible.

Just by using your Disney+ email when you log in. It won’t let you book that discount unless you’re eligible for it when you are logged in. I know some posters have talked about signing up then canceling before their trip when the last Disney+ discount was out. I haven’t read posts from anyone who actually did it. Personally do that wouldn’t risk losing the discount at check in. They don’t make you show your AP at check in anymore either. I just assume it shows active on their end tho. So Disney+ probably would too.

Sounds good! We won’t be cancelling as we use it and Hulu often. The boys use ESPN + a lot too. I also wouldn’t want anything happening when they check in.
