Booking Food & Wine 4 months out

We're (hopefully) about 2 weeks out from getting our membership ID from Disney after buying resale. Anyone know what the odds of us being able to book a studio or 1 bedroom for a week at either BWV or BCV during Food & Wine (preferably October) are?

If not great at BWV or BCV, what about other resorts? Is it possible at all?

Odds are 0.

You might be able to get four nights in a row in an SSR studio. SSR one bedrooms should be wide open. I wouldn't plan on anything else.

We closed in Feb on our BWV contract and at that time (8 months) out there was little to no avail for Oct-definitely not for a full week. Since that time DVC seemed to release a bunch of rooms into inventory as quite a few people on the boards saw it pop up and/or had their wait lists come through. I would suggest booking anything you can find at SSR, OKW, or AKL if you are set on going for F&W and wait list your desired resort-F&W is an extremely popular time for DVC and once the 7 month window for Oct opened in March avail dramatically dwindled

For BWV or BCV: maybe like 1/10000 if you sit around hitting refresh on the resort availability tool 24/7.
Right now not one single studio is available at BWV or BCV for the entire F&W festival dates. There's a tiny handful of single nights in a 1bdrm at BWV.

You might be able to do a triple split stay if you're the type that doesn't mind changing resorts.
SSR, OKW, AKL are the only resorts with some chunks of continuous nights still available.

The September and November weeks of the F&W festival will also be more likely.

If you are open to a split stay and wait list 2 day chunks at Boardwalk, you may get lucky and have a couple nights in the Epcot area, but there are lots of other people executing the same strategy that did so at 7 months.
