Booking fast pass at 2 parks

Is it still true that you can book 3 fast passes at one park and then cancel the other 2 and park hop? For example, if you have 3 fast passes scheduled at Magic Kingdom and you use your first one, can you then cancel your other 2 at Magic Kingdom and book 2 new ones at another park? Or do you have to wait until the time passes on the ones you don't want to use?

You don't need to pre-book 3 in the first place. Book the one you want and then book another in the next park.

I THINK they would have to wait tho until they use their first one at check in before booking the others. I thought you can only book in one park and then once those are up you can continue on?

They only have to PRE-book 1 or 2 in the first park. After they tap in they can check at other parks. You do not need to PRE-book or use 3 FPs in the first park.

1 or 2 FPs can be booked in Park#1 and as soon as you scan in for FP#1, book 1 or 2 FPs for Park#2.

Yes you can do this however if you already know you only want 1 FP at MK then only book that one.
Then as soon as you tap in for it look for 2 at the other park you want to hop to later.
It is easier to just skip the step of cancelling the other 2 if you have no intention of using them anyways.

As others have said, if yo uare only going to want to use the 1st FP, do not book the other 2. There have been problems at times canceling FP, but MDE doesn't consider them cancelled.
As soon as you tap in for the first FP, then start to book the other 2 FP at the second park.
