Booking Expedia through Ebates

I'm looking at booking a cruise through expedia. Ebates lists cruises at 10% cash back. Is there any catch to that?

It almost seems too good to be true. They have the same prices on cruises that I have and the 10% cash back would make it MUCH better to book through them. I'd have to cancel what I have booked (which there is no penalty for at this point) and rebook. We're getting 3 cabins though for a Hawaii cruise, so the 10% back would be over $1,500.

I just don't want to go through a bunch of trouble to get the money back if I'm missing some big exclusion or something.

If anyone has any experience on this, I'd love to hear it!

Love Ebates! Never booked travel through it before though. Hope this works out for you!

I've used them, you have to read the fine print, it's not always for every trip or there might be a cap. I go through them for just about everything I do on line, sometimes I get cash back, most of the time not but since it's just one more key stroke why not.

Thanks for the feedback. I use them a lot as well. You made a good point about the possibility of a cap. I looked for fine print on the offer, but really didn't see any, so I ended up contacting ebates with my questions:

1. Is there a cap?
2. I'm booking 3 cabins, so since I'm only in one cabin, do the others qualify for the ebates cash back and
3. if any of the promotions that expedia is running would void any cash back from ebates.

The only reason I don't just book them after clicking through ebates is that we already have our cabins booked. At this point, we can still cancel with no penalty, but we have the rooms that we'd prefer. So, we'd have to book other rooms through expedia, cancel the rooms that we have booked right now and then hopefully switch the rooms on the expedia booking after our original rooms open up.

It worth it for the cash back, but I don't want to go through all of that for nothing.

I wish I would have thought of ebates / expedia before booking originally :(. Would have made this much easier.
