First time cruiser here, just paid off my cruise today :) Now about this 90 days out thing: do you include the actual embarking date in the 90 or the 90 days prior to that? And, can I just call to make reservations or do I have to fax a form in? I went through Dreams Unlimited and they sent an email saying I have to fax the form, and then on their website it says you can call - so I'm confused.

I thought they changed it to 60 days. Anyway you can either call or fax. We faxed and they fax back the comfirmation.

No, it's definitely 90 days - they recently changed it from 60 to 90 as long as you are paid in full.

I heard that you can email your excursions now too?

Does anyone have any information about that? Thanks!

Here you go, directly from the DCL website.

Shore Excursion Request

Three easy ways to reserve your shore excursions:

* Call the Special Services Desk at (877) 566-0968†.
* E-mail your shore excursion requests along with your name and reservation number to dcl.shore.excursions@disneycruise.com*
* Click here to download and print a PDF of the Shore Excursion Request Form. Then fill out the form completely and fax to (407) 566-7031† .

You may request your shore excursions prior to your scheduled sailing through our Special Services team on or after your final payment due date. Some excursions have capacity limits so be sure to make your request early. Reservations are taken on a first come first served basis. You can alter your shore excursion requests anytime up to two (2) days prior to sailing. You should note that after that time, no new excursion reservations can be made and all existing shore excursion reservations are considered final and unfortunately cannot be changed or refunded. Of course if you decide not to pre-reserve shore excursions prior to your cruise, you can still stop by the ship's Shore Excursion Desk, located on Deck 3, on embarkation day, to check availability and purchase excursions. But remember, some excursions may already be full and therefore unavailable.

When your shore excursion is pre-reserved, you will receive excursion tickets delivered to your stateroom on embarkation day. Payment for confirmed excursions is conveniently billed directly to your shipboard account. We unfortunately will not be able to accept payment in advance.

*We are unable to accept attachments with email requests. Please provide the required detail from the Excursion Request Form into a text email.

† If you are not 18 years of age or older, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to dial this number.

How long should I wait for a confirmation email after I email my Shore Excursions? I'm starting to worry.

Thanks! :sunny:

This is from Disney's web Site

You may request your shore excursions prior to your scheduled sailing through our Special Services team on or after your final payment due date.

Final payments are now due 75 days out.

I am assuming they mean final payment of the cruise... because the gal who made my shore excursion reservations said we don't have to pay for those until we board, and they are charged to our shipboard account.

Right. the final paymetn for your cruise. It is due 75 days prior to your cruise and then shore excursions are charged to your on board account.

Okay, it's been 9 Days since I emailed my Shore Excursions. I haven't received anything via email or snail mail. What should I do? Should I email them again? Fax another copy in? Help Please! :badpc:

We called to book ours. It was fast and easy. Why don't you give them a call and see what's up? Better safe than sorry.

I was just going to say the same thing. I called with my order and had the whole process done in 2 minutes. Very nice people to work with!!!
