Booking DVC while on Disney Cruise

We are hoping to book Grand Californianfor next April. We want to call right at our 7 month mark. We will be on the Disney Magic during this tim and was hoping to book at the DVC desk on the ship. Anyone done this?

The DVC desk is not Member Services, they are sales guides. You will need to call Member services somehow (cell, ship to shore, port, etc) to make the reservation.

We will have our Cell. IPhone, AT&T. What kind of charges can we expect, we will be in Grand Cayman that day.
