Has Anyone Booked Directly With The Dolphin Encounter On
The Blue Lagoon Island? If So

- Was It Cheaper Than DCL ?
- Can You Stay On The Island For The Day With Just The Price Of The Encounter ?
- Where Would You Pick Up The Ferry ?

With the Encounter direct it is $75 U.S. and you take the boat from the Paradise Island docks (Near Atlantis).
With Disney the boat goes from by the ship and takes you to Blue Lagoon, stopping at Paradise Island enroute.
Their price is $113.50 U.S..
It is about a $5 per person cab fare to go over to Paradise Island.
The other thing is you can ALSO book the dolphin swim which is $145 U.S. directly. This is NOT available through Disney.
You can book much further in advance going direct and Disney fills up VERY quickly.
That said there is some comfort in booking with DCL if things go wrong insofar as schedules.
Have to weigh the options and do what you're comfortable with.

Nassau,Do You Lose Your Money?

- Has Anyone Gone Right To The Pier & Booked Right There?

Some of them will tell you up front they will refund if the ship doesn't make it, however these excursions are EXTREMELY popular and fill up quickly. As for booking that day? I think you're really taking a chance.
If you want it I'd call as soon as the Disney lines permit (I think its 60 days in advance) or call Blue lagoon. I think you can do them WAAAAY in advance. The swim sounds like it would be much more fun than the "encounter".
Cheers,
Grumbo
