Thanks for this idea. It does seem like a good idea to wait to rent the car until we are done with Disneyland. Not sure what taxi costs from the airport to Disneyland but it can't be more than paying rental or the 3 or 4 days when we don't need it. Will check out Getaawytoday.com as well, but not sure if it's better for us to go through a Canadian booking site.

And that makes sense why I wasn't seeing Park Vue Inn coming up in searches outside of direct.

Depending on what airport you fly into SNA has cheaper taxi/uber etc rates...we are flying this trip and will take Disneyland express it was $35 each way for 2 adults and 2 kids (kids are free with paying adult) so we got $70 RT transport to and from SNA

If you have enough Airmiles you can get your tickets for free. You have enough time to start collecting especially if you shop at Safeway or Sobeys.

Not across the street but I love Ayres both Orange and Katella sites. Breakfast is more tan the usual cereal, the beds are so comfortable and the ART stops out front of the Katella location.

I also second that flying into SNA if you have the choice. Way smaller and closer. The rental cars are onsite and I found it a piece of cake compared with LAX.
Check Costco.com for rental cars. Not sure if you get the same prices on Costco.ca. Also check the prices for your whole stay as sometimes the rentals are cheaper for longer periods.

Thanks for the tip about flying into SNA instead of LAX. But I did a search for the fun of it (using same week for this August as we'd be looking at next August)...and it makes more sense for us to fly to LAX. We'd be flying out of Toronto and there are no direct flights from Toronto to SNA, and on the return, we'd be flying overnight. Plus, the cost that I just did it's $400 cheaper to fly to LAX than SNA (but I know prices change daily). I checked flying out of Buffalo too, but same thing...no direct flights to SNA.
