Booking discounts online?

Hi all!

After being on hold about 20 mins, I finally got through to CRO who told me the only resorts with availability for my dates are POFQ, WL, and AKL and none with AP rates. However, now that the web site reservations is back up and running, it is showing all resorts available. However, I don't know if I can check for AP or other discounts online. If I'm paying rack rates at least online is giving me more choices.

I've been wondering the same thing....I tried to book GF last night with an AP rate. After being on hold 45 minutes they said it was sold out. I looked today online and there are plenty of rooms available at the GF? I'm really confused. Does anyone know what gives? It's not like you can make a quick call to find out...the on-hold wait is unbearable!!
 
My question exactly! I would hate to cancel the reservation I made over the phone because I thought I got a more preferred resort online only to have Disney come back to say the online reservation didn't go through.

They only make a certain number of rooms available to AP holders - just because rooms show as available, doesn't mean you can get the AP rate. This is true for all discounts, not just AP discounts.
 
Is anyone else as frustrated as I am with getting through to CR! And the website is not much better. It works one minute and the next it doesn't. I've really tried to be patient these last few days...but I'm starting to lose patience. :badpc:

I think you misunderstood...while I was on the phone with CRO they told me NO rooms available at all except for POFQ, WL, and AKL (this is rack rate, not AP rate) yet on the Disney web site it's showing all resorts available for my dates.

I'm right there with you but remember their computer systems just got a total overhaul with the new MYW tickets and packages and glitches should be expected (but it is frustrating when trying to make a reservation).
 
POOHJ80, I understand completely. That's exactly what I'm talking about also. She told me the GF was SOLD out, period. Not that I couldn't get the AP rate, just that it was sold out. But today, online, it showing availability!
