I've been making some ADR's for next week and was wondering do I need to book my dining reservations with my resort reservation? Does it matter if I don't? Does it make it easier if I do? Right now I've got 7 ADR's and only 1 booked with my resort reservation. I'm confused. Just want to make this trip as smooth as possible.

We did get the free dining plan and this is the first time we've been with the dining plan. In the past we've skipped it.

Thanks for helping out a newbie.

I always have booked my ADR's while logged in to the Disney website with my ressie # for my vacation. I never tried to do it without my confirmation #, but I think you may be able to.

The only reasons to connect your ADRs to your resort reservation are:

1 - you want to use the +10 booking advantage (180+10) for on-site guests - not relevant to you since you're a week out and/or

2 - you have the DDP and don't want to pay in advance for the few restaurants that require it - CRT, dinner shows. If you're okay with paying in advance and just getting a credit and using your DDP credits @ the restaurants, then it doesn't matter if it's connected to your resort reservation.
