Ok -having trouble remembering. When I order the Disney Dining Plan, I pay for it when I call correct? I'm thinking last year (August) that I ordered it but it was on my bill when I checked out. Am I really mistaken? TIA for the confirmation.

An SSR question - I goofed and could have booked online 30 days ago, but didn't. Did I make a huge mistake? We have a 2 bedroom and a studio. Should I request that both be as near as possible before I ask for Congress Park? Is this feasible there?

Appreciate all the answers.

You have to pay for it in advance now. It used to be you could pay a check-in but that's been a long time ago.

I'm confused on your second question. Do you have a reservation? Requests are not filled by date of reservation.

Contact MS and have them put a 'Travel With' on both reservations. The 'Travel With' alerts the room assigner to try and place the rooms as near to each other as possible. You can either have MS add the Congress Park request to both or do it through on-line check-in. Shouldn't be much of an issue getting both close to each other in Congress Park at SSR.
