I am on the dining plan and I'll be making our ressies this week. My credit card is almost maxed out at the moment so I can give a CC#, but can't have them put it through. I guess I could pay with my debit card if I have to, but I'd rather not have to pay right now as money is really tight this month. TIA

Technically no.. if you are on the dinning plan it should just use your credit card as a hold.

That being said, I've heard that it can sometimes be a little wacky and will charge you the full amount, despite you being on the DDP.

Can you call? It's a safer way to make sure your credit card will not be charged.

I would call, but make absolutely sure they are taking your credit card for a no-show guarantee and not to charge the entire meal.

The online system often does not work properly when you're trying to book a prepaid meal on the dining plan.

There are lots of reports with people being charged booking online. But if you correctly link your reservation before booking the ADR, and WATCH CAREFULLY, you should be fine. It does show the amount that is going to be charged. I think mine showed 0, but they did in fact place a $1 charge against the card to be sure it was active.
