As you may know, I'm going to Disneyland pretty soon!

However, as it was my first time I've ever booked my stay at Disney Resort I'm wondering how the booking procedure works. I booked a room in Newport Bay Hotel and noted down my booking number that was given to me. But I'm quite surprised as I didn't receive any confirmation on my e-mail. Is it normal for Disneyland ? Usually when you book any hotels, flights, a table in a restaurant you receive an e-mail with your booking confirmation.

Do you think everything is ok?

If I remeber rightly you get your confirmation a little bit later, I didn't get it straight away, and as long as you have a reference number you'll be fine!!

Hi there :goodvibes

i have always got a confirmation email in about 48 hours but last time i called Disney Direct to book the Halloween Soiree tickets i didnt get anything.
So i rang back and discovered the email was still there waiting to be sent. After this in less than 24 hours it was in my box :thumbsup2

If you have not got anything and you booked more than 2 days ago it could be worth to ring them again with your booking number handy and ask about the confirmation email as you will need it for the check in when you arrive at the Hotel.

Good luck :goodvibes

Yep i got my confirmation email about 48hours after i had booked :)
So dont panic yet lol.

Lol, you guys are QUICK :D !

Thank you for all replies, I started panicking just in about 10 minutes after booking :D

xx

booking confirmation received!! now I open my mailbox 100 times a day just to make sure that I AM GOING to Disneyland and it's not a dream :)

The only thing that only worries me is this bit on my confirmation letter :

If your booking has been made less than 60 days before the start of your stay, please pay the required amount
in full in accordance with our specific terms of sale. Unless payment is received, your booking will be
automatically cancelled

Well, I gave them my credit card detail when I was booking, that should be enough?

xx

Last year i had troubles with my CC when it came to pay, aka they blocked it because the sumn was higher that what i normally spend.
Disney sent me a letter saying i had a week to pay or my booking would had been cancelled so i rang immediatly and was told not to worry because they dont cancel bookings before everything would had been tried.
Thanks God it was all payed in a few days and everything was ok :thumbsup2

I think it basically says that if you havent paid the full amount of you stay by the 60 days then your booking is cancelled. Im assuming you paid the full amount of the trip in case you have no need to worry.

To set your mind at ease you can always ring back to check everything is ok :)
