Booking Candy Sushi?

nope. they said the system is "down" for that event and to just keep trying. :surfweb:

I was able to book on MDE. Entered all our guest names. But when I got to the end and it was just about to charge my CC, I noticed the $10 charge and decided not to proceed. (last year it was free)

I think last year they had it set up so if you didn't show you got charged $10. It was a fun and probably wort $10.

the credit card part is where it goes "down".

I've called twice, they are saying it's still down. I get as far as the checkout portion & that's where it fails.

I only need to reserve for my kids, correct? I am planning on hanging back & watching them participate. I know I'll have to select myself as managing the reservation, though, which means I'm only selecting one kid to participate. That's the other issue I'm having with doing the reservation on MDE.

I've not been able to book and have been trying since 6am. Question....do I need to book a spot for myself? I'm taking my 2 children and nephew and I don't need to make a roll as I don't really eat candy and would like to leave the spot open for a child to grab instead if I can just accompany the kids and help them.

Website takes you all the way to the 3rd page after selecting time, party and cc but then still gives error message to call. Just called and still not up. Advised me to keep trying, hopefully up and running soon. They did caution there have been a lot of calls. $10.00 charge this year. That is not for the noshow charge that is a prepaid charge. One day cancellation policy.

Says children under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult. If they are over 7 should not be an issue. Adult and child same price.

My dates showed availability and now don’t so I wonder if everyone is holding reservations on the 3rd page bc they can’t complete it

My dates will show available....then they won't....then they do. I just called (again...I would imagine they are sick of hearing from me) and they said that IT is still working on it and she just kind of laughed & said "I guess they will get to it when they get to it!" She wants it fixed, too. I'm sure it's in a long line of technical glitches they are working on.

I think it's working, folks! I just reserved online and it went through! I had to reserve one under my name & the other under my kids (since someone over 18 has to be on the reservation, I believe)

This. I did the same. I'm not actually interested in doing it myself - just for the kids.
