Booking by phone direct

Hi folks

I've had my 4th (and supposedly final for a while) trip back in June.

For all previous visits I have booked myself, through various websites.

Perhaps someone can tell me if I have got this right ...

if you booked direct with Disney, over the phone, you pay only 10% upfront and the remainder 60 days before arrival?

if you need to cancel I take it you'll lose the 10% deposit (fair enough)but are there any excess charges?

Yes, your information is correct - you can choose, when you book by phone with Disney, to only pay 10% at the time of booking, the remainder 60 days before you go.

There are, like other travel companies, different percentage amounts you need to pay if you cancel within certain time limits - the CM when you book should tell you those, and they will be confirmed in the terms and conditions you will receive by email just after you book by phone.
