If there is offer in our room when we go in Jan. Can I book a room only offer and later down rd add dining plan to it? also can I book 2 rooms? there would be 2 adults during January trip and same adults going on bb trip but who knows what room those adults would be in.

You may book one room per adult currently staying, so if you have two adults, you may book two rooms.

If you want the dining plan, you may add it at the time of booking the bounce back.

If you wait to add it, it will change your room only to a package and your original booking would have to be cancelled and re-done. Not sure if this would mess up your bounce back offer or not. I'm sure someone else will come along with more info.

We just booked a bounce back when we were there in Aug. for next Aug. the offer was FD not a room discount.

That offer won't be available in January when OP is going.

I'd just add a 1 day ticket or something to make it a pkg when you book that way you won't have to cancel and rebook later. You can add dining down the road if you choose to.

Just this afternoon got an email with a FD offer for 1/2-3/7/13. Great art on the email - the Beast!

Oh I would have loved that offer, we are returning 3/7/13 and love free dining was it a pin code or offer announcing for everyone?

I got the same one, book by 12/31 (IIRC). Looks like a general offer from Disney Destinations.

good idea except coming up with 400.00 is a bit hard right after holidays.

I got a post card in the mail for a choice of free dining or 35% off a room. That had a "pin" code. I got the same offer via email and didn't see a code anywhere. However we are going the end of April and the room discount was included even past April but the free dining was only thru March 7th. I guess they might add free dining later?

It is easier to book it as a package from the beginning, but changing from one to the other can be done later. As stated here, if you book just the room and then change to a package, the room only would have to be cancelled/refunded and the package booked, requiring a new deposit of $200 for each room. With that said, since it would be booked under a promo and the promo technically being expired since it has to be booked while you're at a Disney resort, guest services would have to make the change in order for you to keep the room discount as a CRO CM would not be able to do it without you losing the discount. So yes, you can change from one to the other and keep the discount, it just takes a little more time and effort since guest services would have to do it.
