hi all,

this is a question for the brides who have used Beaute Speciale. I've been in contact with Veronica and she wants me to mail her my paper work. I might be a little thick here... but which paper work is she referring to? I've been on the site and I've found 'wedding information' & 'client contract'. Is it any of these?

I don't want to keep bombarding her with emails, they might decided I'm too crazy and avoid me like the plague :rotfl:

Also roughly what time would they roughly show up for a 2.30 wedding? I had something I wanted to do on the morning of the wedding & now I'm beginning to freak out. Just realised I'm almost into double figures before the big day and now I'm in a panic. :scared1:

I feel so stupid, lol TIA x

I was just as confused as you are when I first was in contact with Veronica. You need to fill out both wedding information and client contract. This will have to be done twice if you are going to have a trial run. I called my disney planner and she told me I had to be ready 90 mins ahead of my scheduled ceremony time. Beaute Speciale is coming 3 hours before that. I am actually having a trial run on Thursday of this week and am very excited.

90 minutes  why? I hate hanging about

Don't worry if you have to email back and forth with Veronica. I sent several emails with all my questions and she answered me promptly and pleasantly every time. And if she thinks I'm crazy, oh well. She's probably not the first one to think that of me!! :rotfl2:

it honestly takes longer than you think! i used them and they were awesome. i would go with whateveer they tell you - they do this everyday! are there other people getting ready too? this adds time and adds to your total time. also, you have to be otherwise ready to go jump into the dress after make up/hair, so everything must be done. i just found it took all the time they said it would and though we weren't rushed, i can tell you it is much better to be on a nice easy timeline. i had first thought that for our 10 am ceremony, i would have plenty of time to get up at 5 and go for a run.

HA!

i would go with the timelines that your photog/planner/hair and make up people suggest. try not to do too much that morning. it goes by really fast!

I booked them for our Vow Renewal in April. Jackie showed up right on time (8:30 AM and our VR was at noon). I had hair & makeup done (just me). Jackie finished and I got dressed (make sure you wear something that has buttons) and by the time I was finished dressing we had about 20 minute wait for the limo.

Our planner told me that I had to be there by 11:00 AM but I rode along with DH & our guests (there was a total of 6 of us for the VR).

I would definitely go with whatever they tell you (like the other posters wrote).

I don't know what time you should book hair and makeup but i only had to be ready by 30min before my ceremony at the wedding pavilion and i was staying on property. the groom had to be ready 1 hr before ceremony start time for limo pick up and i was picked up 1/2 hr before.

She is probably referring to the contract. We had a 2:30 ceremony at the wedding pavilion & we stayed at the Boardwalk. The girls from Beaute Speciale showed up at 6am. There were two girls that did hair & one that did makeup for 7 girls. Our photographers showed up around noon so we had to be done with hair & makeup by then. We left the Boardwalk around 12:30 to take pictures over by the Grand Floridian. The morning goes by so fast but it's better to have more time then to feel rushed. :rolleyes1

Hiya,

just wanted to thank you all for your input/advice, much appreciated!

I've booked them and they confirmed today that they will arrive at my room @ 11am. :cheer2:

They are fantastic!
I had a 2:30pm wedding and they were doing hair and make-up for me and my MOH. They showed up around 10:30ish. I can't remember the exact time -but I went with the time they told me. I'm glad I did.
I didn't have a trial, and the girl who did my make-up (I think her name was Kerri) made a suggestion to do my make-up less bridal and more vintage glam to match my dress and hair. I wasn't sure I would lik this look, but she said she had lots of time and if I didn't like it, we'd take it off and go more bridal. It turned out fantastic! I never would have thought about the lighter eye shadow with red lips, but the whole look together was great!
I say, go with the time they tell you - and have a great wedding day :goodvibes

I had my trial on Thursday with Laine and I loved her. She came at 5:45 am and started at 6am. She was done with both my hair and makeup by 8:15am. I had to be ready by 8:30 am to leave for my planning session. I will have the same time frame for my wedding in August, my ceremony is 10am at the wedding pavillion. My wedding planner has pics in the grand for men at 8:30- 9am and for ladies 9am -9:45am, that way we don't see eachother. To me it doesn't seem like a lot of time waiting. Hope this helps.

Yay for Beaute Speciale!

They made me look like a princess on my special day. I had Ana and she was wonderful.

For our 2:30 ceremony, she came to the room at 9:30, and we were done at 11:30 in time for photographers.

I was SOOOO happy with her. You will be happy with them too.
