Booking at dw.com vs. phone

Just FYI
I have been planning a ton as all of you are. I searched dw.com for AKL standard view 2282.00. I called Disney directly (basically curious about discounts) and was quoted 2730.00 for savanah(SP?) I asked for a pool view and was quoted the same price?? How nuts is that, by shopping around everyone knows that a savanah is way more expensive that a pool or regular view. She also said that nothing was avaliable for regular view, but when I booking online right after our conversation, rooms were avaliable.
Also, she already had my personal info and no discounts at all.
Anyway, still glad we are booked!

Oh wow, I did the same thing!! lol, I'm trying to decide if we can go during the Food and Wine festival, or should we stick to the summer heat?? I did the online site, and then phone, and expedia..I'm just getting the same $199 a night quote from all of them (AKL standard)

Lucky You! I found that expedia was about the same rate also, crossing my fingers that booking thru Dis will give me an upgrad?? Hoping!
