Booking at 11 month window?

My home resort is BCV-I plan on taking a late November/early December trip in 2003. Is it possible that even booking at the eleven month window, that I will not get the dates I want? Also, I plan to hold that reservation, then at the 7 month window, I'm going to try and book VWL instead. Is it difficult to book? This is one of my concerns about the Vacation Club-I worry that even with the eleven month window, I will not be able to book a room!

If you call at the 11 month mark, you should have no problem booking BCV. If you are concerned, call everyday to be sure you get it. For example, if you arrive on Nov 25, you can book Nov 25 on Dec 26 (11 months from the Nov 26 checkout), then keep calling everyday to complete your reservation. That probably is not necessary, you could wait and call for the entire reservation on the 11 month mark of your final checkout day.

Early December is popular for DVC'ers due to the low points and Christmas activities. You can call for VWL at 7 months but you may have to get on a wait list.
