Booking another trip while at WDW

I've noticed a lot of posters are booking their next trip to WDW while at WDW. It sounds like to get the free dining you have to book while there. Is this true? Do they ask you this at check in/check out? Anybody know the details? Thanks - I'd like to be ready if it is offered to us when we go in May 07.

the free dinning is only available - last of august and sept.

I think this deal is now closed - but who knows Disney has reinstated many things it once closed.

I booked a trip for August while I was just in Disney in December. You had to be at a Disney resort and make your reservation for next August through Sept.30 by December 31. They called it the bounce back program. But watch for the free dining to come out in the beginning of April. That's when it came out last year, so if they offer it this year it might come out then.

Yup I found a thread on the dining plan forum and it did end 12/31/06. Thanks for the info guys!
