Booking and wait list miracle

I can't even make this up! Last night I decided to take a chance and put a waitlist in for BCV studio for 3 nights in November. This morning I woke up and got it!!!! I have also been stalking a Value 1 Bedroom at Jambo for Spring Break. For the past three weeks, 5 out 7 nights have been open. This morning was the 7month mark to snag the 5 nights, I logged in and ALL 7 nights were available. The week before Easter, all 7 nights! I am over the moon!!! I think I was just dusted with pixie dust with a dump truck!!!

Congrats! We had SSR for 3 nights in Nov and just looked last night and found BCV 1BR available so we too switched. Very excited as we have only stayed there 1 other time. Going nov 29th.

Wow! Congratulations!

Unless I cancel HHI, I have no points to play with, but if I did, I also would be trying to change a December Kidani Standard View to maybe Savannah View in December. That in itself was a minor miracle, I and my friends were at SSR in a two bedroom when I saw I had a few points that I could use, the 5 night waitlist came through in less than 5 days.

I also woke up this morning to a wait list miracle!

I had 4 nights booked for a BWV P/G view studio in 3 weeks. I wait listed a standard view BWV studio thinking it would be great to save 16 points. I have been checking a few times a day but there was always at least 1 day missing and the last few days all the days have been missing.
This morning I logged on to do a search and noticed my wait list was gone and I now had a standard view studio! (The 16 points were also returned as normal and not holding points!)

Availability is definitely very different than in the past that's for sure. With out cancelations and points not being able to be out bank from borrowing ... we've got a whole lot of points and there are places available we never thought we'd get. Since park hours are being reduced for our trip we booked a bigger room at a resort we'll make the most of. Gotta use the points anyway and might as well enjoy it as much as we can. Since we might be out of points till 2022 anyway... I have a feeling we may bank to 2023 just because when people feel safe going again... It will be crazy competition for reservations lol.

I cancelled our week in BCV studio for November a day or so ago. Piecing together a HHI stay instead (only one night left!!!) I'm boycotting WDW proper until they bring back the fireworks lol.
