Booking an extra day then call to remove it?

I want to book a reservation, but nothing is available unless I add a day. Are they still letting you remove days from a reservation?

YMMV. It requires an override or something from guest services. I’d try. If the first CM won’t do it, try again at a totally different time of day.

No. I actually got some days booked. I need to add another day which that day is available if I book it separately. Ugh!

I hate that.. I ended up buying my room 3rd party.
I just added 3 days using hotwire. I got such a great rate (79. For pop) I bought one night first.
Not sure when your trip is but it's worth a try.
