Booking an AAA Package / Future Discount

If I were to book a AAA package now (room, tickets, plus dining plan), will I be able to get a room or dining plan discount if and WHEN those offers come available later?

Since you have to book AAA packages through a AAA agent, the answer to your question will depend on whether they will help you make the change if another better discount becomes available. You should check with the agency/agent you are working with.

I actually just did this at the end of December. I had booked our package with AAA in September then when the spring promo was released I called AAA and they quoted and applied the spring discount to our trip. I was even able to do it early with my DV.

AAA has been the way that we've booked our last 2 trips. They will look at any promos and weigh them against what you are getting already and apply the promo that works out best for you. In 2010, I was missing a free dining plan option by 1 day. I hadn't booked my flight yet, so my agent offered to push back our start date by 1 day and made sure that all the ADR's attached to my original res # were still intact.

In the past, I would book with Disney CRO and then transfer the reservation to AAA when they were running a promotion for a free gift card for example, or to at least get the diamond pass.

But now the transfers to a TA must be done within 30 days of making a reservation...

Next question... I ordered the DW Planning DVD. What are the chances that a PIN number or other discount code comes with that?

I wonder if I could apply that to a AAA package after I book it?

It is a possibility you could get a PIN butno guarantee. If you get a PIN or another discount comes out you can call your agent and they will apply any discount for you.
