booking air through disney??

Are there any benefits with booking air through Disney when booking pkg? Seems rates when getting on own is pretty comparable to what pkg is right now.

Do most of you just get air on your own?
We're flying out of O'hare.

I have found that Disney has always been MUCH more expensive than I can find on my own.

The airline's Disney packages seem to be cheaper than Disney's packages that include air.

I guess if you just can't be bothered to look you'd book through Disney. I guess it's worth looking, but at least coming from the West coast it's not a good deal.

We booked our package through Disney then I called back a few weeks later and purchased the airfare therough them. There was no difference in cost than if I had purchased it myself through the airline.

Disney quoted us the same rates as Delta did and I feel better letting Disney "handle" it. I'm not flexible with what airline so shopping around isn't an answer for me. If you're flexible, then shop around...if you don't want to deal, then let them do it. They don't charge extra (and come to think of it...all the check out charges that you have on the Delta site with taxes and what nots, Disney didn't charge us...we paid the first search quoted price).

Appx $70 per ticket American Air Line, Cedar Rapids, IA. Prices even better than Air tran!
