Booking Air for October & SW???

We are planning on 9/29 through 10/7 flying out of Cleveland or Columbus, Ohio. Right now Continental out of Cleveland is $278 pp round trip.

If I wait for SW to announce their flight schedules are they generally lower than this when 1st listed? I usually fly out of Detroit via NW but we are relocating to Ohio so I have no idea what to do. The Continental flights have already gone up $50 pp in the past week. Plus - I'm not sure which airline would be better anyhow. After flying NW for the past 14 years being the major carrier in Detroit - this is all new to me.

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

I fly SW out of Columbus and I've usually gotten dings for 39-59 ow. SW fares from CMH to MCO I can usually get fare for 99 ow.
