Booking after purchase

Hey y'all!

I have a question about booking after purchasing a re-sale contract. I am purchasing my father's DVC points. Once the offer has passed ROFR and the deal has closed, how long until I would able to book a reservation? I have 2 reservations that I will need to re-book quickly.

It usually takes about a week after closing to be in the DVC system and able to make a reservation.

We were in the system in 4 days so I would call and start checking then, especially if you want to make some quick reservations. It doesn't hurt!

Why didn't you just have your father book the reservations for you and then close on the contract AFTER your trip?
