Booking AAA rate at wdw.com?

Can you make a room-only reservation at Disneyworld.com using the AAA rate?

I had to call when the new rates came out and ask if I could get the AAA discount. It was for peak season at a Value resort and all current info says the discount is 15% but all they gave me was 10% -but I'm happy for even a small break!

Room only AAA rooms have to be booked by phone.The rooms available with the discount are limited. I just booked an All Star room a few weeks ago and got the discount. One week later MIL decided to go and had to book her at rack rate. If you want a MYW packge with AAA you have to use a AAA agent.

No if you book AAA room only and then want a package...you need to go through AAA to get the package.

If you don't want a package with all the extras you CAN book a room only and then get your tickets thru whatever vendor you feel comfortable with. MYW is tickets, not a package.
A package includes extras such as dining plan, mini-golf, luggage tags, picture frames or many other extras including tickets, but if all you want is a room and tickets you can do them separately yourself. I will be going down in October and booked an All Star family suite (no AAA discount available on these) on the phone and will order my tickets from AAA before we leave.
