The husband said let's go back, but I really have no time to hunt and track. What's everyone's experience with Dreams Unlimited.

He wants go go in the beginning of November before the holiday crush.

I have found that every time I try and use a travel agent, I do a lot more work. I have to tell them what I want and then wait for them to respond. Why not just call Disney directly and tell them what I want and cut out the middle man. Same amount of work for me, with no waiting to see if they are actually doing it and doing it correctly. And then if what I want isn’t available, I have to wait figure out a back up plan, being that much behind, or let them know if what they did instead was/would be ok. That is less work for me. I, personally, do not find TAs to be worth it when I know what I’m doing.

I agree - I never use a travel agent. I could book a trip in under an hour if I needed to, complete with ADRs. Just pick the resort, call and book it, then get airfare and make your ADRs.

Haven't used Dreams Unlimited, but have done a Disney-only TA. I've been pleased with the service. Very responsive, makes sure I get the right discount, which Disney direct doesn't always do. She also makes all the ADR's. I create my list of when/where/who/how much by e-mail when I have time (usually after 11 pm) and the TA does the rest. None of my time on hold or playing the time game with a CM. FWIW. Just enjoy going back again!

Haven't used a TA in years. 20 minutes on the phone with CRO, entire trip booked and planned, no problem!

I just booked a room only reservation through Dreams Unlimited and so far have been very pleased. I have been to WDW many many times and I always book everything myself. However, I have never been able to snag a AAA discount on a room only reservation at the resort of my choice. This time I thought I would see if Dreams Unlimited would be able to and they did. I made all other arrangements myself - airfare, car rental, tickets and adr's.

This is our first trip to Disney & we used Dreams Unlimited. I couldn't be happier with the price (less than going through Disney...how is that possible?), the response times (no longer than 24 hours & usually within an hour), the answers to my questions & all of the help that I have received. Yes, I've spent a lot of time on the disboards since but so far I haven't stumbled across anything that I needed to tell the TA about.

I have always booked my own trips & never used a TA before. I went with Dreams Unlimited as a result of a friend's reccomendation and am very, very glad that we did.

Maybe it's different if you;ve been to Disney before & know what you're doing but for my maiden voyage it made the whole thing much easier ;) .

We have used them a couple times now and they were and are great.

I travel on a regular basis and tend to make all my own arrangements so using a TA is something different for me.
